WASHINGTON (AP) — President Barack Obama has signed into law a five-year extension of the U.S. government’s authority to monitor the overseas activity of suspected foreign spies and terrorists. Update: 27 injured in clashes at presidential palace

Ahmed Omar, Health Ministry spokesperson said Tuesday night that 27 people have been injured so far in the protests at the presidential palace in Heliopolis.
